Today I performed the two highest, most important civic duties:
I voted

and made my own Plinko game.

Today, I am an American.
I could absolutely not be more impressed with the plinko. I'm coming over, and I'm fully prepared to guess the correct prices of laundry soap and cough drops to earn my plinko chips.
I WILL GET THE FIFTY.
Posted by: estella at March 16, 2004 09:55 PMAmy, you already know my feelings about the Price is Right but that is a fine Plinko.

Posted by: sar at March 17, 2004 01:43 PMYou know, if they combined voting with your Plinko machine (the undecided or apathetic could just vote via Plinko), I truly believe we would have 100% voter turnout.
Posted by: drew at March 17, 2004 04:29 PMI had babysitters that watched the price is right but I was like four years old and raised by hippies so as soon as I started going to school it was all PBS at our house and I forgot everything on the Price is Right and Days of Our Lives except that the models all had fabulous (in the sense of "unreal") hair.
Posted by: Auntie Sarah at March 18, 2004 08:51 AMtalk about patriotic!! amy, you are my american hero!
